This page explains, in plain English, what information The Web Magnet ("we", "us") collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to build and run your website, we don't sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
- If you fill in our form or email us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the details you share about your business.
- If we contact you first: we may have used publicly available business information — such as your Google Business Profile listing, public reviews, and your existing website — to prepare a preview of a website for your business. This is public information about your business, not private information about you.
- If you become a customer: the content of your website (text, photos, business details) and your contact details for support. Payments are processed by our checkout provider — we never see or store your card details.
What we use it for
- Building and sending you the website preview you asked about.
- Building, launching, hosting, and maintaining your website if you become a customer.
- Replying to your questions and providing support.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.
- We don't store payment card details — our checkout provider handles payment securely and emails your invoice.
Preview pages
Website previews we prepare are hosted on private, unlisted links, are excluded from search engines, and are automatically removed after around three weeks unless you take the site live. If you'd like a preview of your business taken down sooner, just reply to our email or contact us below and we'll remove it promptly.
Emails from us
If we've emailed you and you'd rather not hear from us, just reply and say so — we'll stop, and we honour that across everything we send.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you or your business, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we'll take care of it — no forms, no fuss.
