Plain-English terms for working with The Web Magnet. If anything here is unclear, email us before you pay — we'd rather answer questions up front.

1. What you're buying

The one-time website package ($500) includes: your website built and published live on your own domain; your photos and wording incorporated, with revisions until you approve it; a quote/contact form connected to your email; first-year domain registration (if you don't already have one) registered in your name; and your first month of hosting.

2. Approval before launch

Nothing goes live on your domain until you approve the final version. We revise wording and photos until you're happy with how it looks. Once you give the go-ahead, your site will be live within 7 business days — that timeline is a written promise.

3. Ownership

Once paid, the website is yours. Your domain is registered in your name and remains yours permanently, whether or not you continue with any of our services. If you ever want to host the site elsewhere, we'll provide your site files and reasonable help moving, at no charge.

4. Hosting and the care plan

After your included first month, keeping the site online requires hosting: either the care plan ($50/month — hosting, security, and content edits on request, including keeping your prices, hours and services current) or hosting-only ($25/month). Both are month-to-month with no minimum term; cancel any time. If hosting lapses and you don't move the site elsewhere, we'll send you your site files before taking it off our servers, with clear notice beforehand.

5. Domain renewal

Your domain's first year is included. Renewal (typically around $15/year) is included in the care plan, or billed at cost if you're not on it. Your domain is never held hostage — it's registered in your name and you can move it whenever you like.

6. What we need from you

Truthful business information, timely replies during the build, and any photos or content you want included. Content you supply must be yours to use. Public information from your Google Business Profile (your reviews, services, photos) may be used on your site — it's your business's public information.

7. What we don't promise

We build sites designed to present your business well and make contacting you easy. We don't guarantee search rankings, traffic volumes, or a specific number of new customers — anyone who guarantees those is guessing. What we commit to is delivery: the site, the timeline, and the approval process above, in writing.

8. Payments

Payments are handled by our secure checkout provider, which processes your payment and emails your invoice automatically. We never see or store your card details. Subscription plans can be cancelled any time and simply stop at the end of the paid period.
